Documented Scale Computing protection paths

The vPlus 7.0 support matrix documents two SC//Platform strategies. Both support full backup and VM restore, while disk attachment adds incremental backup and file-level restore.

Export storage domain

Use the export strategy for full VM backup and restore without a proxy VM. The matrix also lists disk exclusion, snapshot management, pre/post commands, iSCSI access to VM disk backups, policy assignment, and power-on after restore.

Disk attachment

Use a proxy VM and disk attachment for full and incremental backup, VM and file-level restore, disk exclusion, snapshot management, pre/post commands, iSCSI access, policy assignment, and power-on after restore.
